Refund and Return Policy

RETURNS AND REFUNDS

RETURN PERIOD – We have a 30-day return policy.  If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, we can’t offer you a refund. 

RETURN ELIGIBILITY - To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, in the same condition that you received it and in the original packaging.

RETURN PROOF OF PURCHASE - To complete your return, the item must have been purchased from us.  We require a receipt or proof of purchase.  

RETURN AUTHORIZATION - Email contactus@oldgettinplace.com BEFORE returning your item and request authorization.  We’ll give you a return authorization number and additional instructions.  Do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer. 

NON-REFUNDABLE SHIPPING - Shipping costs for your initial purchase are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of shipping will be deducted from your refund. 

RETURN SHIPPING COSTS - You are responsible for paying for your own return shipping costs. We recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.  

NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS - include anything perishable, food, flowers, newspapers, magazines, products that are intimate or sanitary goods, hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases.  Additional non-returnable items:  gift cards, downloadable products, and some health and personal care items. 

REFUND APPROVAL PROCESS - Once your returned item is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

CREDIT - If the return is approved, a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment.  It may take 7 to 10 business days before the refund appears in your account.

LATE OR MISSING REFUNDS - If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.  Then contact your credit card company.  It may take some time before your refund is officially posted.  Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.  If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please email us at contactus@oldgettinplace.com.

DEFECTIVE OR DAMAGED ITEMS - If items are defective or damaged, we will either replace them or refund your money.  If you have a damaged or defective item, send an email to contactus@oldgettinplace.com.  We’ll provide you with additional instructions.
